Our Practice
Passionate about providing high quality care
TSMP was first established in 1967 and has provided care for our patients throughout their life. We have a large team of registered nurses who provide support to the doctors and are very experienced in general practice. We are also lucky to have an excellent allied health team who work from within the practice to support our patients.
We are passionate about training our future doctors. TSMP has been an accredited teaching and training practice since the inception of the RACGP Training program. We are very proud to have a large cohort of locally trained medical graduates working in our practice, and fortunate that the team includes 3 GP supervisors, 3 medical educators, and a JCU clinical skills teacher and guest lecturer.
The philosophy of the practice has always been to offer the highest standard of ethical and professional primary care that is possible, and to pass the concepts of the provision of this care on to younger members of our profession.
We are fully accredited with AGPAL and have maintained our accreditation since 1999.
